The protection of nacworld members and their data is most important to us. We inform you here which personal data we process and how members can protect themselves and their data. Further information on the use of nacworld can be found in the user agreement and in the code of conduct.
Personal data is used exclusively for the purpose of nacworld. In no case is it forwarded or given knowingly to third parties. Contrary to other social networks, access to profiles contained in nacworld is not possible via relevant search engines. nacworld is a self-contained portal and is not/will not be linked either to google or to any other search engine. All data is constrained within its network. Non-members have absolutely no visibility to personal data.
Each nacworld member decides him or herself what data is visible to others. The settings for all data can be altered for visibility at any time for each individual under “My profile”> “Edit privacy settings”. Differentiation is available between “visible for nobody”, “For my contacts only” and “for everyone in nacworld”. The member’s name and profile picture will remain visible to all other nacworld members in all cases. On the same overview page each member decides whether and which personal data may be found when searching and filtering in nacworld. The de- and activation of functions also takes place here (Guestbook, internal messages, contact requests). Each member can independently delete entries from other nacworld members in his guestbook, or comments from his blog. A member can check to see, on his profile page, how other members view his profile.
Members’ account settings
Each member decides him or herself whether nacworld sends them information by e-mail of changes, contact requests, guestbook entries, blog comments, etc. The settings can be individually changed at any time under “My Profile”>”Edit settings”.
Access data is captured each time a page is called up. This data includes the IP address, a time stamp, page name and information of the operating system and browser used. The data is captured to allow recognition of errors, to assist in development improvements and to determine possible misuse.
