The software for nacworld was developed using Perl, and Catalyst as the MVC-Framework. Client-side actions use Mootools. The webserver is lighttpd, and mysql is used to store data.

Two 16 GB main servers with 8 cores run on Gentoo Linux, allowing for optimal availability. Each server is connected to the Internet with a 1GB connection.
